Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the global economy, and according to AI business strategist Aduina McKennon, 2026 may become one of the easiest years for ordinary people to start making money online using AI tools.
Speaking in a recent video presentation, McKennon — founder of Future IQ and a contributor featured in Forbes — outlined five emerging AI business models that she believes can generate substantial income even for people with no coding experience, business background, or startup capital.
According to her, the AI landscape has evolved significantly beyond earlier trends.
“The tools are better, the demand is higher, and it has never been easier for a regular person with no tech background to make money using AI,” she explained.
McKennon emphasized that while AI can automate large parts of the workload, success still depends on consistency and execution.
“AI doesn’t replace the hustle,” she noted. “It simply reduces the amount of time required to do the work.”
Among the opportunities highlighted was the growing market for AI-generated digital products. These include prompt packs, e-books, Canva templates, mini-courses, dashboards, and business guides that creators can develop once and sell repeatedly online through platforms like Etsy and Gumroad.
She explained that many consumers are now purchasing ready-made AI solutions because they want shortcuts rather than learning complicated systems themselves.
Another major opportunity identified was AI-powered short-form video editing. With the rise of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, many businesses and creators are struggling to repurpose long-form content into shorter viral clips.
Using tools such as Opus Clip, Descript, and CapCut AI, editors can now transform hour-long videos into multiple short clips within minutes. McKennon claimed some freelancers are charging monthly retainers ranging from $500 to $1,500 for these services.
She also pointed to the increasing demand for AI-assisted social media management among small businesses. According to her, many local businesses understand the importance of maintaining an online presence but lack the expertise or time to manage content consistently.
By combining AI writing tools, graphic design platforms, and automated scheduling software, individuals can now operate social media management services with minimal overhead costs.
One of the fastest-growing sectors, however, appears to be AI chatbot development. Businesses are increasingly adopting automated assistants capable of answering customer questions, booking appointments, and generating leads around the clock.
McKennon argued that AI chatbots provide companies with a cheaper alternative to traditional reception staff while creating recurring monthly income opportunities for developers and consultants.
Her top recommendation for 2026 was a combined AI website and chatbot service targeting small businesses with outdated or nonexistent websites. She explained that modern AI-powered website builders can now generate professional websites in a matter of hours, allowing freelancers to charge anywhere between $200 and $2,000 per project.
Adding AI customer-service bots to those websites can then create ongoing monthly subscription income.
According to McKennon, millions of small businesses across North America still lack strong digital infrastructure, making the market highly profitable for beginners willing to learn one specialized AI service.
Despite the growing excitement surrounding AI entrepreneurship, she cautioned viewers against trying to master every opportunity at once.
“You don’t need to do all five,” she said. “Pick one, learn it, get your first client, get your first dollar, then build from there.”
